Job Title: Cook | All-Rounder
Location: Muddy Duck Tapas & Events, Coleambally, Southern NSW
Type: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Reports to: Hospitality Coordinator / Business Owner

About us
Muddy Duck is a vibrant venue in the heart of Coleambally – a small country town in Southern NSW. We’re a newly established social enterprise combining a café, tapas and cocktail bar, eco boutique shop, events space, and a warm community hub. Our food is paddock-to-plate, full of local flavour, and we host everything from relaxed brunches to bustling functions. As a start-up, we’re also launching farm tourism experiences to share the story of our region.
The Role
We’re looking for a happy, hardworking Cook who thrives in a team and is ready to get stuck into a bit of everything. You’ll lead the kitchen’s daily operations – from prepping and cooking to keeping things clean, ordering stock, and supporting events. When it’s quiet, you might hop on the till, help at the bar, or assist with front-of-house and pack-down.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, wants to be part of something growing, and doesn’t mind doing the dishes too.
You’ll be working alongside two other part-time cooks, with a flexible roster based on the venue’s opening hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9am–2pm
Wednesday to Saturday: 9am–9pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm
Additional hours: Available during events
