At Muddy Duck Tapas & Events, everything we do begins on the land. As local Coleambally farmers, we grow the grains and fibres that feed, clothe and connect our community.

 

Our paddock-to-plate philosophy celebrates this journey — from the fields to your plate. The wheat grown right here in Coleambally is milled, processed, and returned to us as beautiful flour, hand-crafted into our artisanal pizza bases and an ingredient in our breads, housemade cakes and sweet treats. Our grit corn leaves the farm to become crisp corn chips, which leave the kitchen as delicious loaded nachos. Our durum wheat is made into pasta, used in our delicious pasta dishes. Each dish tells a story of local produce.

 

Inside our café, you’ll also find the Farm Pantry — a showcase of locally made and Muddy Duck condiments and snacks, including Prickle Hill chutneys and sauces, and our farm-grown soybeans and grains. These versatile beans can be made into fresh soy milk, roasted as snacks, or blended into nutritious dips. You’ll also find our popping corn, freshly popped and drizzled in housemade salted caramel and chocolate. 

 

Our Saltbush & Rubies Boutique continues this story through farm-to-fabric living. We feature Australian-grown cotton and Merino wool, sustainable homewares, natural wellness and beauty products, handmade artisan jewellery, eco-friendly cleaning ranges, and thoughtful gifts that honour craftsmanship and country.

 

As local members of the community, we exist to build connection, creativity, and opportunity. Through local employment, local sponsorship, creative programs, and inclusive events, we create a space where everyone can feel part of something meaningful.
